This is our 6th year at Pike Point. We enjoy coming here. The lake is gorgeous & not overly crowded. We love to fish & the fishing is always good. We thank our hosts for listening to us and adding some lamps in cabin 7 for reading (another positive). We look forward to coming back again next year with our whole family. We have been coming to Pike Point since 2015 and some one from our family has stayed at every cabin during that time. We are so grateful for the well stocked kitchens and comfortable accommodations. It’s been great to introduce our grandkids to fishing off the dock, boat rides and swimming in the lake. This is a great place to gather the family! – The Wollitz Family

The weather was great and the fishing even better. It was our 2nd year here and already booked for next year. Mandy and Bruce treat you like family, it reminds you of what resort life was like in past years.
I’m so glad there are still resorts like this because most people don’t have the time or resources own their own place on a lake.

We enjoyed our week at Pike Point Resort! Joe and I had visited before we had kids, but this was our first trip as a family! Countless hours were spent on the beach and out fishing. We enjoyed the Kayaks, paddleboats, swim mat, lots of bubbles and the new water trampoline. The Pratt’s did their own firework show for the 4th of July and it was amazing! We spent most of our time at the resort but also ventured to the headwaters and into Bemidji to see Paul Bunyan # Babe, played at the park and got ice cream! Being at the cabin has given us the chance to get away from lifes busyness, to get to spend time with family the most important thing in life. Kids had an awesome time swimming and kayaking and playing games at the lodge and eating ice cream treats. The ladies had a super fun time fishing on the pontoon with the cane poles and also shopping at the clothing racks in the lodge. Everyone has been so friendly and accommodating. What a great week! I came with my 14 year old kid and our dog. We rented a fishing boat and went out twice a day – we caught some nice panfish and both became better at cleaning our fish. This week’s guests were so nice. Cabin 3 shared their hot grill coals and campfire with us a lot. Cabin 8 took us on the pontoon they rented twice. We fished with Mandy twice and event went with us to check out a little festival in Blackduck. This vacation was just what we wanted! We played cards and enjoyed so much together. Mandy and Bruce make this place magical. For a single mom I couldn’t have had a better week! – Anglela, Olli & Nala

Its been 20 years since I was last here (I’m only 27 now!) and its been so special to walk through the resort grounds and remember back to my favorite childhood vacation.
My great-grandparents used to own the resort (Ada & Galan Lapp); my dad used to come here as a kid and brought me here as a child to continue the legacy, and now we’ve been able to share the same ol’ red-cabin’ed, screen door slamming lake resort, that we remembered with our family and next generation of grandkids. 5 generations and counting! A beautiful week of boating, fishing, campfires and laughter. Thank you Pike Point for the memoires.

We caught a lot of fish and had a lot of fun! Charlotte and I got to go out on Ladies night for the first time this year and it was very cool! We caught the most fish. I hope we have more fun next year! – Teresa Demes The whole crew made plenty of memories and s’mores! I’d like to highlight Charlotte, Teresa, and Lukes valiant effort in the cornhole tournament, though they didn’t win. All in all, another fantastic year, with many more to come! Bruce & Mandy, Thank you so much for another wonderful year! We had a few cold days, but the lord blessed us with a beautiful last day! We always look forward to coming here, it’s like a 2nd home! Moved into cabin 2, just me and my dog. Got settled and sat down on the futon to relax and take in the lake and the trees and the birds and wind pushing through the air, absolutely lovely. Then a big family walked pst on their way to the beach and docks. A oud and boisterous group, clearly having fun together. Swimming, telling stories and jokes, gathered in a group at the end of the dock. After a bit I mustered the courage to join them, walking all the way to end of the dock to greet the group and say hello, two hours later, I walked back to cabin 2 with a host of new friends. The warm and welcoming family was instantly comfortable, absolutely kind and generous. Something a a beautiful place brings out the beauty in everyone. Jorae Dupont

Our second year here, it was amazing. The weather was perfect, warm in the sun, cool in the shade. No humidty. 
Fishing was great and the hospitality here is the best. Loved all the activities, ice cream social, the fish fry, ladies fishing evening. Bruce & Mandy you two are so welcoming, kind and friendly. Another great stay at Pike Point in our favorite Cabin #9! New porch furniture, living room furniture & new bathroom! Bruce & Mandy are the greatest. Cabin 3 was our refuge for a beautiful week in mid-September-we thought rain was forecasted, but it never showed up until our last night. We had so many nice surprises: A fish fry potluck the moment we arrived; touring the lake on the slow pontoon, and sampling the fishing with success. Then Mandy took us out and presto several meals of giant sunnies. The drone recovery project (see facebook); shopping in the lodge including ice cream; and lots of talks with our hosts; Bruce & Mandy. Our giant Schnauzer “Bernie” had a great time too, walking the leafy roads and relaxing. We cooked, slept well, read, and rested which we needed very much.
