Learning to cane pole fish with the girls

Ladies Night Out is one of the weekly fun things we do here at Pike Point Resort.

Mandy takes the ladies at the resort out on the pontoon and teaches them how to use cane poles to catch those really BIG bluegills and sunfish. There have been times that a walleye or northern have been caught also. And for those that don’t touch fish or bait; no worries, as Mandy baits the hooks and takes the fish off.

They sometimes have such a great time they come back singing along the way. Most people on the lake know when we are out also as the laughter can be heard by all. The daily catch is then used for our Potluck Fish Fry at noon on Wednesdays.
