Our guests do enjoy taking day trips to shop, dine, golf, gamble, hike, bike and explore all this area has to offer.  Below is information you will find helpful in planning your Northern Minnesota Vacation full of fun and exciting things to see and do. Visit any of the wonderful attractions to enhance your MN Vacation; you will be glad you did!  

Bemidji- Paul and Babe are awaiting our guests in downtown Bemidji at the Chamber Building Park.  Quaint antique shops await your arrival along with great restarants for all types of foods.  Minnesota Nice is next door to the Bemidji Wooken Mills which is always a great place to eat and shop.

Itasca State Park-  A short travel to the headwaters of the great and mighty Mississippi River.  Walk the rocks across the beginning of it all.

McKenzie's  Place Gift shop offers over 7000 sq ft of shopping experience for all your souvenirs just past Paul and Babe downtown.

Golf - close and convenient is Castle Highland Golf course along with Bemidji Country Club and Blackduck golf courses

Three Island Park is known for its excellent ski trail system and day-use picnic area on the Turtle River.  In the winter the ski trails run adjacent to and across the Turtle River, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful winter scenery.

A snowmobile trail also runs through the park, connecting to over 400 miles of groomed trails inthe county.

In the summer and fall, the trails are primarily used by mountain bikers, hikers and hunters. It is located just a few miles from our resort.

Movil Maze Recreation area Movil Maze, named for its popular network of ski trails, was constructed in 1979 for the first Minnesota Finlandia Ski Marathon.  This recreation area contains 1250 acres of hardwood forest with mixed maples, oaks, and birch.  Summer and Fall, the trails are primarily used by mountain bikers, hikers and hunters.  It also has a snowmobile trail system.  In the fall, the park is open for grouse and waterfowl hunting.  Pike Point Resort in October is a great place to stay for fall enjoyment.

The popular Anderson Fabric is located in nearby Blackduck, MN

The Lost Forty-Guests enjoy the drive to the Lost Forty and walk the paths through the unclaimed forest with some of the largest trees in Northern MN.

Forestedge Winery treats guests to complementary wine tasting, tours and gift shop located 30 minutes south of Bemidji
